Hi Girls!

I was hoping some of you could give me some ideas...

I'm thinking of doing our spare room up as a nursery... BUT the catch is... It will still be a spare room / nursery.

We'll be taking out the bed and putting in a sleeper couch.. (did you see the one in Huisgenoot (Januarie) from Coricraft? It was used in a green setting?? I'll be using a similar one) The coclour will also bee green and white. I'll add colours later if I feel like it. The problem is this: it will still ...

I am so unsettled! I feel like I have been pregnant forever (concidering I fell pregnant in Feb 2008, lost the baby in July 2008 and fell pregnant again in Oct 2008 - I technically have been) I am excited that I am in my 2nd trimester now and once we see the specilaist on Thurs I'll be alot more confortable and relaxed and we may even find out the sex (well I pray we do beacuse i am not sure I can wait another 3 1/2 weeks~!), but I am itching to start buying stuff (colour coded ...

How do you ladies feel about this medicine?

Ped gave it to me for Tristan,cause he doesn't sleep from 7am to 12noon and from 6pm to 10pm. I've heard stories regarding this medicine.

Ok girls, here are the facts about weight gain in pregnancy, quoted directly from the book What to Expect When You're Expecting:

The average weight woman should gain approx. 1.35 - 1.8kg in her first trimester, and about 450g a week for a total of about 5.45 - 6.35kg, during the second trimester. Weight gain should continue at a rate of 450g a week during the 7th and 8th months and in the 9th month 450 - 900g or even none at all - for a total of 3.6 - 4.5kg in the third trimester.

My Scan update

Hi Ladies,

I am very sorry to be posting my update so late. I went for my appointment on the 23rd and all was very well. LO was playing around and he had his bum to the Gynae. Because I was so eager to know the sex the Gynae did an internal scan and she said it is definately a BOY!!! I am so happy. My next appointment will be on the 20th of January 2009 at 23 weeks.

Keep well ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!

12 Week Scan Update

Happy New year!

Well last week Monday we had our 12 weeks scan.. wow!

Our LO was so active and it was really a very nice scan. Nucal fold looked good, baby had open hands!! (Our Trisomy baby hand clenched hands) so it made us very positive, we saw it's little arms, elbows, legs, knees, hands and feet and concidering our scan was at 8am and we got home late the nigt before from a friend's birthday I was quite shocked. The Dr could hardly get a proper heart rate reading beacuse ...

i hope that you see this, i know that you are on leave but hope that there is someone that can help. im looking for a gynea in the wilgers hospital. one that is understanding and nice. the staff gave me 3 names, dr L Erasmus, Dr Backer and dr Constantinides. i need to now more of them, also im a high risk pregnancy and extremly scared so the dr has to understand that. and not been rude. can anyone help?

Sjoe... What a long scan... But a slice of heaven in deed... The lady that does the scanning is soooo sweet, she really tried her best getting nice pictures, we were there for over and hour... Just handed our VHS in and we'll pick it up this afternoon to get the live footage... Going to be awesome...

I have got another scan next week Tuesday @ 10am, we'll see if we can get some nicer pictures... Hoping...

Halo ladies

Our gynea is on leave for a few weeks and went to her partner and what a lovely lady. My hubby even likes her more that our own gynea!!

She explain so many things for us and look at everything, from the cord and the blood and air flow inside it, the fluid, listen to their hearts and our little girl is doing very well!! She don't thing that we need to do the c-section on 34 weeks, if I can I must walk a bit more. They are weighting 632 and 644gr and really growing very ...
