Did you have two names in mind and named them (Say baby on the left is Honey and baby on the right is Bunny) or did you have preselected names and waited till the babies were born before deciding? Also, how did you and dh decide who will pick the name and which baby will get that particular name?

Hi fellow twin mums,

Just wondering if any of you have a jealousy problem with your twins? We have a bit of a problem with Michael being a very jealous little boy. He really doesn't like it if I have Grace on my lap, pick her up or pay her any special attention. They are very different in personality and he is very demanding of my attention, whereas Grace is happy to just play and cruise around - not demanding at all. I try to give them attention equally and will often take Grace out ...

The girls are all over the show and I am either trying to get them out of/off/out from under things (octopus) or trying to herd them in the same direction (Lassie the sheepdog). This year has been way more hectic for me than the first year. To add to the confusion, the girls are so different in personalities - Olivia wants to sit on my lap/hip preferable all the time, whilst Rachel wants to climb anything and everything. Seriously, I am so exhausted at night it is ...

I dont have twins, but have a twin pram, because K will only be 2 when her brother is born and it made sense to me to get a twin pram and got it at an absolute bargain.

Anyway, so we went to the mall with the pram for the first time this weekend, the shops that have the sensormatics, its spaced so close to each other that I could barely get the freakin pram through there...It is so unfair...also the one store, the aisles are so narrow that when I go through with my pram, everyone ...

Refer to each child by his single name. Avoid labels like "the twins," "the boys" or "the girls." Use each child's given name instead, like Emily and Sara, for example. To prevent fusing the children's two names together and using it as one name (i.e. EmilyandSara), vary the order in which the names are used. Intermingling the use of "Sara and Emily" with "Emily and Sara" will also prohibit giving one twin top billing. Pearlman advises telling ...

My two are vastly different in size. So much so that often people don't think they're twins!

Connor is 10.18 and Kendra 7.45 kg at 11 months.

When people see them, everyone says "gosh, he's SO BIG" - drives me batty because he is NOT BIG. She is small.

He is on exactly the 50th percentile. She's on like the 3rd percentile (something like that - I don't care, she's finally growing!)

Does anyone else have this "challenge" and how do you deal with it?

what do one-year-old kids know about themes or parties?

is there a point to having a theme?

what do you feed the kids?

My tiny little baby Grace has finally graduated to toddler status at 14.5 months (13 months adjusted age) and has taken her first steps! I am so proud of her, my tiny little girl who only weighed 1.4kg at birth! She's still tiny - I think probably around 8kg now, but a feisty little thing. I'm hoping things will get a little easier now (is this wishful thinking?) now that both babies are on their feet. I really found the crawling stage very trying.
Did any of you look after your twins alone in the beginning before you went back to work, or did you get help from the start?
I am not going to get much assistance on ML. My friend is working her backside off, and her DW works elsewhere 3 times a week, so I will still be alone. Just dont have to worry about cooking and cleaning for a while

SO at one point connor would try and interact with Kian who was oblivious t him. Now Kian is trying to play with connor and he is not so interested. It is only in the car when they are strapped in that they talk to each other.

But they do like to copy each other sometimes.

Do your kids interact with each other and how do they interact??
