New development, please help me!

Post by M on Sat 4 Jul 2009 - 10:12

Hi ladies,

As you know Jayden sleeps from 8pm-12am and then wakes every 2 hours with eyes closed crying and fussing - rolling around. Now, the latest: A nurse (friend) told me that he has a sore tummy and that is bothering him. He does have silent reflux cause I can hear him swllowing when I put him down to sleep after a feed!

1. Do I change his formula?
2. What should I give him to see if that works?
3. I tried Babasuur - that doesnt seem to work.

What else can I try give him for his tummy to see if that settles him, or do you think its not his tummy? I am seriously out of ideas!

Hi marthie!please tell me more,as you know i've also been struggling and asked the other day about zoë's burping and swallowing, what if that's the reason she's been sleepless for via past few months? What did your friend say and please keep me updated.

Behoedmiddel and maybe telemeddrops?

Rooibos tea works wonders for indigestion so maybe try giving him a litle before bed....

Can't you thinken his feeds? For instance I use a little NAN AR in the twins' bottles. Also, is he lifted in the cot - with a wedge under his head?

Try a bottle of the Infacare Anti Reflux just for his night feed. Jordan still has his and his crampies seem to be way better.

Sorry my friend. I hope he comes right soon.

Thanks girls!

I actually bought Buscopan yesterday and tried that with his last feed last night. He slept 4.5 hours and then woke up 2 later for dummy only, then 2 later for feed, then 4 later to wake up at 6.

So all in all much better - absolutely NO screaming and sweating and moaning. Only slight uhm noises! Thumbs Up

Thanks Nix, will try the AR at night. xxx
