A situation that presented itself this morning.

Ok, long story short, hubby gyms with a personal trainer at 6am in the mornings, they have been talking for the past 8 weeks and somehow people (random people) anyone just opens up to hubby, always, if you knew him you'd understand, he just have that vibe about him that you feel at ease talking to him and he is very good with listening and supporting and giving advice. He should have been a counsellor (sp)

Anyway, last week they talked about having sex before marriage and the wrongs about it, bla bla bla, the spiritual impact and such (very technical, but that is how we feel and what we have learnt) and living together etc bla bla bla. THIS morning, the poor guy came to hubby, he made his girlfriend pregnant, they just found out, they are in total shock, the don't know what to do. The girl is a rep, she is 20, he is also still young, like 23 and works long ours at the gym, gets up a 4am, comes home at 9pm. The have only known each other for a month, so it's not like they are on the brink of marriage. Her mom wants them to get married, it's not the right path for them...

They are deciding tonight what they are going to do. This is our situation. If the decide to abort, we are going to talk with them and try to arrange a private adoption, we will adopt this baby if we have to, to keep them from aborting. If they decide to on adopting, we will present them with DH's brother and wife, as they want to adopt, they are now too old to go through the CMR, they have been married for 15years, they can't have children, as she had a hysterectomy at 18, her tubes and things were messed up, she started her cycle, which was very light and got sick. Somehow she bled to the inside and things got septic... So long story there. Okay you may ask if they want to have adoption for this baby why don't we let DH's bro and wife adopt from the start, we will probably present it to them, but if abortion comes up we'd rather act fast and make sure they won't then we can work out logistics later. Or if they decide to keep the baby we will financially support them. So any way it will be okay I hope, it's just what path it will go that is the factor here.

Please just think of them, and us, and this baby...

thanks ladies, whatever they decide will be okay, as long as they don't abort, but if they decide to, we will then talk long and hard with them and give them the option and then we can (or DH's bro and wife) give this little one a loving home...

thanks sheena . when he phoned me this morning there was not even a doubt in my mind what we will do with this. so I know should it happen it will be the right thing...

I am actually kind of excited, but DON'T want to get too ahead of myself here...

Ah Monz, this is so sad, I will pray that they make the right decision in the end. There are such a shortage of white babies out there that I hope and pray they rather gave the baby up for adoption and that your BIL and his wife also may taste the wonderful thing called parenthood.

Monz,you and DH are wonderful people.....I'l be praying for you,DH and this guy and his girl that they make the best decision by keeping the baby and giving it up for adoption.

Thank you ladies... I am a bit emotional all of a sudden over this, but I believe it will work out the way it should, just don't know which way that is yet... I also hope it turns to BIL and his wife, really I do. They once came so close to adopting and then the couple pulled out and that scarred them, I think that is why they are reluctant at the moment to officially go to an agency again, they always said if God wants them to have a baby He will give them one in His way, they don't have to be on a list for that, I think this is their chance... I really hope so!
