Please pray for us

Hi Ladies

Please pray for me and DH ... last night we cried for 2 hours together

He confided in me that his previous girlfriend was pregnant with a boy and she had an abortion cause she thought he was not ready for a baby ... she was 4 months along when she had the abortion and nobody knew about it, not his parents or his friends or her family ...

he said he was also convinced by her that he was not ready, cause he didnt want to get married at the time ... he feels that because he agreed to it that God is punishing us now ... I never saw him cry as much as he did and pray as much as he did for forgiveness ...

Please pray for strength for us and for his heart to be healed ...

I told him that we would have a little 'ceremony' in honour of his son ... just for him to find closure

Oh shame kim it takes alot out a man for him to cry,and to ask for forgiveness,but plse God WILL never punish anyone so cruely,its not his fault that you guys are not pregnant yet,it takes time,it will happen for you guys,i also thought i was cursed cause i cant get pregnant,but i know in my heart that our time will come my friend.
I will keep you and dh in my prayers,plse be strong for him.

Things will work out for the good dear.

Hi Kimmy... you're a very strong woman standing by dh for this, and I'm sooo happy you do! I think the "ceremony" is a great idea. Just tell him to never think thoughts like that, God will never punish him for that, He's a God of love, not war!!!

KP, sweety I am sorry that your DH had to go through that!!! but God is a God of love, and he will never punish anyone in that way! I pray that God will give him peace and that he'll be able to forgive himself! HUGS to both of you!!!! xx

I just got goosebumps reading this. I hs a similr kind of experience with a friend of mine. I assisted her, by driving her to the clinic and picking her up afterwards. It has also haunted me at times.

Please make your hubby understand that he needs to forgive himself. God forgives us in hertbeat, he died on the cross for that exact reason, but it's usually so much harder for us to forgive ourselves. It's a whole process. Just by telling you about, crying about it and asking for forgiveness he has come so far already. He just needs to forgive himself too.

I will make an effort to interceed in his behalf and ask God to show him that he is forgiven. I am sure he isn't being punished, but he must find his peace.

I know there is baby in your future. I just know it. God knows it.
