My joy!!

Post by smiley on Sat 20 Sep 2008 - 21:01

I started getting PMS syntoms in April 2007(At the age of 27). I went to a gynea as the results of the bloods did by my GP showed that I did not had any estrogen levels.
The gynae said it was caused due to contraception and it cause my ovaries to shrinck away and that caused the non produce of estrogen. We started with hormone treatment.

But instead of curing my problem, I started bleeding. Sometimes up till 21 days with only 1 or 2 days inbetween without bleeding. NO medication that was given to me could stop the bleeding.

The gynea wanted to do a historectomy but I refused. Then in February 2008, she did a D&C and a histroscopy. but could not find anything wrong. In April 2008 I went to a FS as between these thing we still TTC'ed, he put me straith onto fertility meds, He thought that if we force me into a cycle the bleeding will stop. But it only lasted for 23 days.

In June 2008 I went to a 3rd doctor, who took away all medication, like in all medication. After doing a scan he diagnosed me with a damaged womb. And with 1% chance to get pregnant. I had a sist in one of my ovaries. He also saw that I did not ovulated every cycle.
The bleeding did not stop. He did a histroscopy on 25 August 2008. It was on CD 17. So I thought there goes my chances again for this month. He found that the damage in my womb was caused by cronic womb infection. he gave me antibiotics for a month. He also explained why the infection never stopped was because of the hormones I was given to bring up my estrogen levels, these hormones fed the infection.

I have a 28 day cycle, wel AF did not show, Tested on cd 29,31,34 all BFN. But got a faint line on cd34 after 10 min.
I had energy and sore (.)(.). That was all signs.

I did a blood test on CD 35 and got my BFP.

I got my BFP with a damaged womb caused by infection and while on antibiotics.

The bloods indicated that I ovulated very late in my cycle it was about CD 21.
