Another graduate!
I love all you girls in the TTC forum (and will continue to check up on you!) but I guess the time has come for me to say hello to everyone here.
I got my BFP last thursday (after my fourth IUI) and had my second beta yesterday. All the numbers look good so far (see my signature) but I am very cautious as my previous pregnancy, in June this year, ended up being ectopic (despite a tripling beta!) and I had to have an emergency op at 5 weeks 4 days. That time my numbers were on the low side of the normal range and this time they are on the higher side so I hope that can only mean good things. My follicle this cycle was on the right (the undamaged side) so I hope that also means that the chance of another ectopic is reduced.
Because my FS is considering this pregnancy ectopic until proven otherwise we are going for the first scan on Thursday (at 5 weeks). We are hoping to at least see the sac in the correct position as its obviously too early to see much else.
I'm short on symptoms this time...last time my breasts were very tender and felt like bricks at this stage but now they are hardly sensitive at all.. just my nipples are sensitive. I'm battling to get a full nights sleep (same as last time) and have had some random aches/cramps in my abdomen along with a general discomfort (varying somewhere between feeling hungry, nervous and like AF is about to start but not quite!). I assume that is all normal!?
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you in this forum!
Lots of love
Luna
