D & C

Post by kleinkie on Thu 11 Mar 2010 - 21:06

Hi There

Just went for my 2nd D & C yesterday. Still don't know what went wrong this time.

I am not able to get pass the 6 week mark in a pregnancy. This time I was with a wonderfull doctor. We saw the heartbeat on 6 weeks and 3 days. Injected myself with Clexane every morning since 4 weeks, and still something went wrong. I started bleeding on Monday, went to see the doctor on Tuesday and by Wednesday it was all over again! Crying or Very sad

I need some advice urgently. I took my Centrum Materna, together with Ecotrin everyday + the Clexane 40mg injection.

I am turning 30 this year and really hoped that I could the experience the joy of motherhood before my birthday this year, but this won't be possible any more.

According to my doc I am the 2nd 1 in her career to not hold a pregnancy while taking the Clexane.

Is there any 1 out there who has had the same experience or could please give me some advice?

Hi Kleinkie

I am so sorry you had another MC. Are you seeing a fertility specialist?

big hug

Hi. Nope not seeing a fertility specialist.
Getting pregnant is not a problem. It's keeping the pregnancy that's not working.

The injection you use when you fall pregnant is called Clexane. You get different dossages. I was on the 40 mg.

I am seeing the doctor next week for a check up, then we will discuss our options.

You get so many advice from family and friends, but they don't really understand what you are going through. Some say that we must wait a few months this time before getting pregnant again, but I disagree. After a D & C your'e womb is clean. So I wait to hear what the doctor will suggest. :Wait
