miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy all in one

Hi All

I would like to introduce myself. I am a 34 single woman eager to become a mom.

In May this year I decided I was ready to fall pregnant using donor sperm.

I was extremely lucky in that I fell pregnant on my first attempt of AI.

At six weeks I suffered a miscarriage. It was awful but I tried to make peace telling myself that it was better in the long run as my baby was sick. Little did I know what was still waiting for me.

I bled for six weeks after my D & C but then started experiencing terrible abdominal pain. The gynae suggested a laporoscopy to see what was wrong. Whilst in theatre he discovered that I had an ectopic pregnancy (11 and a half weeks). I had in fact been pregnant with twins.

The ectopic pregnancy ruptured my fallopian tube which had to be removed.

My chances of falling pregnant have now been halved but am still determined to have a baby and to become a mommy.

All that I can say as that you are brave woman, and you deserve to be a mommy, just keep faith, hold on, and try again, God will give you the miracle!

Really sorry to hear about your double loss

The exact thing happened to a friend of a friend of mine, but they picked up on the ectopic when they did the D&C.
