Probably about time for my story!

I've been married for 6.5 years and we've been trying to get pregnant, for more than 3years.

My DH had a vasectomy before we got married and he actually didn't want children. But 3years in he changed his mind (or I'll rather say God changed it for him!) so he went for a reversal. We were told that our chances of success with the reversal was very small, because it was more than 10 years. But it was successfull!

He's sperm count was very low, but it was there. We tried for a couple of months, first I got a cyst that had to be removed then we found out that I had "endomitriose" (don't know what it is in English) and it had to be removed with laser. About 3months later I found out I was pregnant, Feb 2008. Two days after I found out, I had a miss carriage at 6 weeks.

Later that year we did some tests and I was not ovulating, so we went for AI, but it did not work. We kept trying and decided to wait with anymore treatment. One day on OPM I read someone else's story and the lady's DH also had a reversal, more than 10years after his vasectomy and she got pregnant. She put him on a bunch of vit's and that seemed to work. I got the list of vit's from her and got DH to take them.

Then in Aug 09 we went back to the Dr he did tests and again he said DH's sperm count low and he also put me on fertomed, I think it was. Dr phoned me one day and told me that he wants to send us for IVF, because he doesn't think there's a change of me getting pregnant naturally. I took the fertomed in Aug & Sept, but then stopped. We then decided to start saving for IVF. I prepared myself that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant naturally, so I stopped concentrating on it and went on as normal.

In November I fell pregnant naturally! I was on study leave, so maybe not being at work did the trick! We weren't expecting it at all. When I was late, I didn't think much of it, because I was late before and it was always . I waited until 4 days and then bought the , was so nervous. I never thought it would be . I did it at work and it was immediately. I took a photo of the and send it to DH, because I didn't tell him before the time that I was late or that I bought a test. He was so surprised, kept on asking what made me do the test? Duh??? At about 5 weeks, I started bleeding slightly and was booked of for 3weeks, Dr didn't want to take any chances. But I am almost 12 weeks now and everything is going great!

I praise God for my little miracle that's on the way!

Wonderful story indeed... guess one must always remember who is in charge... our time is not His time!
