Logans arrival
Hi Ladies
Well i was 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant we went to my stepsons cricket day at school. i did lots of walking got home and was exhausted. I had a bath and as i got out i felt like i had wee'ed myself. Told DH think my water broke and phoned the gynae. He said to monitor it and if it continued to come in. Went in at bout 9 PM put on monitors he was fine and i was having contractions - 2 every ten minutes.
The gynae on call came round at bout 10:30 and said because we had booked the caesar for 29 weeks cos logan was face up we were going to go ahead with the caesar and not attempt natural
I was prepped and taken to surgery at bout 12 o clock. The spinal was given after 3 attepmts although it didnt hurt at all, i really hated the feeling of not being able to feel anything and cried a little at that point. They started and just before 1 AM my beautiful boy made his appearance screaming madly and peeing all over me LOL!! they weighed him (3.22kg, 50 cm) and his apgar was 9/10 and then 10/10 and then they gave him to me and we went off to the room.
Was an amazing experience and when i heard his first cry i cannot explain the relief i felt. I breastfed for bout 3 days then he wouldnt take it anymore and we moved to bottle
He is now 4 months old and is amazing..... becoming a mom is extremely life changing and challenging but the best thing ever\
Good luck girlies
