Eve, we had the chelino when the babies was just born. Worked very nice, and nicely priced.I just struggled alot because it is a bit heavy, and when folded my cars boot was full. We got the Maclaren now, is much lighter and fits in everywhere. Also takes very little space in the boot. I found that when my babies was so small we didn't use our pram alot, we used to just carry them in the snug and safes. We waited until they were a bit bigger and now they love the Maclaren.

Mmmm, thanks Elaine

I think the Maclaren one will be better for me then, as I need something light weight (as I will be folding/unfolding the pram on my own) and that can fold up small, as i have a ford fiesta hatchback(old shape), and the boot is quite small

Jip, then definetily the Maclaren. I have a Toyota Verso and the Chelino filled my boot! My hubby is always at work, so I tried the pram thing once alone and it was just to heavy. Maclaren is much easier to handle.

No Tarryn that was only in Australia, they are still fine here. i heard a report on that in if you just follow the instructions and be careful; as with all other prams there is no problem.

eve i have used the Maclaren virtually from birth, it is the lightest of any of the twin prams, folds up the smallest and i take it everywhere. you won't be disappointed!

Eve most twin moms recomend the maclaren it is the only light small affordable twin pram in SA. I met a twin mom in the Killarney mall on sat with a nice red one.

I just have the baby jogger cause I wanted big wheels and a lie down pram, which I used but not realy enough to justfy the price.

I also carried the boys in thier car seats in the beginning. It is a bit heavy with two but just seemed easier than the whole out of chair into pram palava with tiny babies. jou just get nice arms in the end.

Yes about that Eve! Ask also if you can by the demo model, then you get discount, and you also get a discount based on the twins if you are a member of SAMBA. the other nice thing about the Maclaren is that the seats are reversible so if you get bored with one colour scheme you can just flip them around!

Oh that sounds interesting P! I have registered with SAMBA - ooh, while I think about it - the products they discount, how does it work? eg. NUK bottles - Do you just go into any stores and show the SAMBA card, or do you contact SAMBA and order through them?

Will definately ask for the demo model. Are they always willing to sell the demos?

Eve, you just go to Toys Rus and show ur Samba card and then you get the discount on the Maclaren. I never bought the NUK bottles but I think there is a contact that you can phone to buy the bottles. We bought our pram in December, but I forgot my card. So we just went back with the slip and our card and they gave us our discount back.
