Don't you just hate it when

so called 'friends' WITHOUT kids dispense unwanted advice. It drives me mad - this morning I was told that she would NEVER get up everytime the baby cried at night! This after getting up every 20 minutes last night cause the kiddies were having nightmares and had sore tummies and I don't know what else. What do you leave your little to cry, choke, cough itself to death?? grrrrrrrrrrrrr NOT COOL!!!!! Does it ever cross peoples minds that you actually love your children??! Thanks for letting me get this off my chest!

Not to worry my mother in law asked if we were not spoiling our boys by going to them everytime they cried! I had to hold my husband down while I calmly smiled and nodded.

I don't care what people say I will go to my kids as much as I like especially when they are sick (like last night or teething and are crying in pain).

Also what people say and do in the same situation is completely different!

I agree - do whatever works for you! Fortunately I have not been on the receiving end of too much unwanted advice. Most people I associate with have been through it all themselves and just sympathise when I come to work looking haggard and tired!

Or almost as bad, when people with singletons try to dispense advice on how to raise twins???

I have a women in my building who has no kids and tried to tell me that I abuse my boys?????? What the hek, Ams I know the feeling babe, hate it!

Once I was in Pick n Pay and Jason & Grant decided to lash out at each other, like full on, they were bitting and pulling hair and screaming so loud. I tried to intervene and then decided that they could sort it out as I was only making it worse... just then a women comes up to me and starts telling me what to do?????? Oh I was fuming!
