The poem I wrote after therapy
Your beauty
Remains a mystery to me
Your laugh
Remains a whisper
In memories that I've created,
That never were,
But wished for so dearly.
You were called
To the light,
To eternity.
The best for you I could not give,
But so wanted to.
You life and mine
Intertwined,
For a short time
You were held within me.
My body, my soul,
My heart longs for you
To move within me.
You're not here,
But move me you did.
You're little life
Has touched mine,
So deep within,
Places I've never been.
Your life
Has humbled mine
Now more divine
Are my thoughts for you
My dearly loved little one.
Remains a mystery to me
Your laugh
Remains a whisper
In memories that I've created,
That never were,
But wished for so dearly.
You were called
To the light,
To eternity.
The best for you I could not give,
But so wanted to.
You life and mine
Intertwined,
For a short time
You were held within me.
My body, my soul,
My heart longs for you
To move within me.
You're not here,
But move me you did.
You're little life
Has touched mine,
So deep within,
Places I've never been.
Your life
Has humbled mine
Now more divine
Are my thoughts for you
My dearly loved little one.

Re: The poem I wrote after therapy
Thanks Mich...
Yes they do touch our lives so deeply, and the one thing the therapist said to me was "the way I see the passing on of someone is that their work here on earth was done"...
I struggled with that thought because how could a fetus or an unborn child's work be done since they are not born yet???
And the answer came straight to me, as if it was God saying "my dear it's work was done, it worked in your life!"
WOW just remembering that gave me goosebumps...

Danni, wow! Thank you for being so brave to share that poem it is beautiful!
My therapist has encouraged me to write, I write letters to Brayden I find it helps.. not to creative so my scrap book of my pregnancy and loss is about as good as it gets.
