Aai Kitty, I am very sorry. Have you ever had a hysteroscopy? Maybe you should have one done just to check that your tubes are open?

Re: Its a BFN again
Thans ladies for all your love and support.
Mandy-Leigh re: hysteroscopy - haven't had one, asked FS about it and he said I had 2 BFP and we can "presume" my tubes are one, but then it was 3 years ago and this really worries me because many things could have gone wrong. FS said my main problem could be my egg quality because of my age and then DH sperm motility.
TarrynT - no AF yet, but she is such a good girl and will show her face sometime over the weekend and she will not dissapoint us, I know that for sure.
At the moment I feel very down and out. Feel like I have wasted nearly a year of our lives. Since May 2009 we had 6IUI's in total and it was so emotional draining. Although it does not costs nearly as much as IVF, we had put all our extra cash each month into it, money which normally use for holidays and weekends away. I wish we could take a break, but it seems that time is just running out on us, I am turning 40 in July. So we had decided at beginning of this year that we will try at least 2 IVFs if needed and then stop everything and carry on with our lives. I am prepared to that and DH and I will have to talk this over again before seeing dr S next Tuesday.

Re: Its a BFN again
That sounds like a good plan Kitty. I have quite a few friends who have been unsuccessful time and again with IUI, but were then succesful witht heir first IVF. I understand how you feel regarding the costs of it all, and with a BFN it's always money down the drain. At least with IVF they wil be able to assess the egg quality when the fertilisation reports are done.
I truly hope IVF will be the answer for you guys. You could also perhaps consider using other therapies for a few months before the IVF to improve egg quality like herbal hormone balancers to try and improve egg quality. It's worth a try I think.
I would also suggest waiting a bit before doing the IVF. After my previous 2 medicated cycles I felt totally overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted, which I knew was not a good thing for my family/marriage. I opted to wait a while and go on the pill just to relax for a 3 months, so that I could regain my strength/hope/faith. It has worked wonders and I am less anxious about it now.
Good luck to you Kitty, I am a firm believer that you will have another child. At a sermon (of a rather famous preacher) I once attended he said that God loves giving babies to his children.
Love
Mandy
