OPM get together and Twin meeting in March

Hey Ladies, i was so excited and looking forward to this past weekend's OPM get-together.
But my one angel got really sick last week with broncho-pneumonia, and i thought she would be OK on Saturday but when the weather turned to be so miserable, i was starting to feel miserable myself as well. Having this irritating dry cough and really feeling crap. And to top everything my other angel decided to have her first VERY grumpy clingy crying nagging day , and she was so difficult the whole day - she would not allow me to put her down....(i think she might be getting more than one tooth currently moving into position) - So Saturday was really not such a good day. And i had to tell myself that my presence at the get together is not going to happen....

I feel so bad missing this event - purely because i wanted to meet so many of you and the single baby mommies - and off course i would love to meet our darling Eve!!

So there is no way i will miss the twin meeting in March. I already told my hubby that he should make a big note of this date , and i will not be available for anything except my girls and my best cyber friends!!

Did any of you attend Saturday's get-together

Yes I did but could only stay a little while as the boys nap at 12 and started getting v difficult. I was great to see everyone, but difficult to talk to everyone as there were so many people and babies.

I am looking forward to March as there will be fewer of us so I can talk to everyone.

Also how is this for a coincidence I was in the rosebank mall on sunday afternoon and two twin boys walked past with thier big brother and they looked very familiar. It was DJG!

I unfortunately did not make Saturday either but will definitely make the March get together!

It was so nice to bump into you Kerry, your boys are just too cute... I think that Connor definitely wants more play mates ;) hehe!

My thoughts were with you all the way on Saturday.... while i was playing on the playmat with my girls, and feeling sorry for myself with all this coughing and my 2 angels really feeling crappy.
Now we have an new date to look forward to!

Please can you tell me what time the twin meet up is? I have a one year old birthday to attend to at 2:30pm in Joburg, so am hoping that you are having yours in th e morning

I was in Amsterdam, NL, on Saturday, so no for me too. I am looking forward so much to seeing you all in 3 weeks time!

Eve we were thinking of about 10, trying to fit in all the feeding and sleeping schedules ect, so it will be great if you can come!

Ooh, then there is a good chance I can make it! Even if it is just for a an hour or so, cause I promised to help my friend set up the party

It would be great to meet you Eve! I will only get there after the boys swimming lesson, will try move it to 9:30 - 10:30 and then come straight through to Midrand

I am so excited to meet more twin mommies, I do not know many... only one that is a personal friend so really excited!
