Twin Update : 1 Year

Today we had our 1 year checkup at the Paed and am pleased to say that all is looking good. Michael is weighing 9.7kg and is 76cm. Doc thinks he is going to be a big boy - he has big hands and feet! Very happy with his development and says that he is quite advanced physically for a baby who is an adjusted age of 10.5 months (He is cruising and standing unassisted for up to 20 seconds now) He said MIchael was right on the 50th centile for his adjusted age . Little baby Grace weighed in at 7.6kg and is 72cm. He is very happy with her growth and said even though she is still tiny she had moved up a centile and is no longer on the very bottom one. I asked him if I should be concerned that she had only just started crawling and he said not at all - given the fact that she was so tiny at birth she is doing very well.

I am so happy that all is well with my babies - he wants to see them again in 6 months time!

Hi Wendy, that is awesome news!
Its just so amazing how they manage to "catch up".
Kiana also started to crawl only at 11 months, so little Grace is still perfectly "on time"

And its so amazing now to see those personalities coming into the open - i feel so blessed (and surprised) everytime they do something which i did not expect. And i cannot believe that they are growing up so fast.

Enjoy every second with those angels of yours - they are super gorgeous!

wow they are doing very well. Don't even worry about the crawling my sis crawled at 12 months (she was full term) and went on to get transvaal colours in rythmic gymnastics and is woring towards becoming a surgeon at the moment. So clearly when you crawl means nothing.

That is great news Wendy. They are doing so well. Especially little Grace, she is really catching up now. And they are so gorgeous!!

Sounds like they are both doing great! Well done mommy coz without you they would not be where they are
