Sorry for all the questions ladies Rolling Eyes Please if you can, answer my questions in the Hospital Bag post
Ok, so my next question: Nappy Bag - You use one nappy bag, right? If so, did you get yourself quite a big bag? If so, from where?

Eve I couldn't find big nappy bags anywhere so I always use two - one for nappies, wipes, clothes and one for food and toys. Other than that I got them a little tog bag for 'school' which works well.

Re: ANOTHER Question

Post by Guest on Wed 7 Apr 2010 - 8:31

Eve I bought one at Nine West... My one really big splurge but it is big and fits everything! I have at least 6 nappies, wipes, bum cream, a change of clothing for each, a spoegdoek and a blanket in it. One thing I have found is that you actually need a lot less stuff than you think. So I also have one of those small JJ Cole bags with the changing pad in it, and I have 2 nappies, wipes and bumcream in it. That is it! And I take my small bag into malls ect, and I have never neede more than was in that. I leave my big bag in the car so I have everything on back up if needed. You will also need a double bottle holder for the bottles, and a small cooler bag for their food once thay are on solids.

You will really have your hands full with the double stroller so try to minimize the bagage!

I have a medium sized bag that someone gave me. We travel quite light with only 2 spare nappies, wipes and bum cream etc. In the beginning I used to pack changes of clothes etc but now that they're older it's not necessary. I also pack a picnick blanket for them to sit on and a few toys when we go out.

Hi Eve

I have one regular size nappy bag that I use when we go out for only a few hours. It's not to big and I can fit their nappies, wipes, cream, toys and a change of vest and also a "spoegdoek" for each girl. Their milk is in a separate travel bag cooler thingy. Only when we go out for a full day etc. do I use 2 bags. But maybe because you will travel mostly alone get one big bag.

Have a lovely day.

HI eve

I use one medium bag (acctually smaller than most) and it is great I has a changin mat, I put 2/4 nappies in a small pack of wet wipes some cream. It has padded sides where the milk goes and then there is lots of space left for a few toys, bibs, my purse and sometimes a change of clothes. I have never needed a second bag. sometimes if we are out and need lots of toys pack a toy bag.

Hi Eve. I bought a big bag from Baby City. Also about R150. And i am able to fit everything in it. At least 4 nappies bum cream wipes. Spare set of clothes for each. There is compartments where i put their bottles. It is very full, but everything fits.

Re: ANOTHER Question

Thanks ladies, I am just battling to find a decent size bag that is affordable. I cant seem to find any cheap bags for that price at Baby City. And the ones at Edgars near me are really small.

Oh well, will just keep on looking as I dont want to have to carry 2 around.

Thanks Kerry, just hoping they stay in there longer still!!

Our baby boom has beautiful ones that look designer, but aren't. I paid about R150 for mine and it fits wet wipes, nappy disposable bags, changing mat, bum cream, about 10 nappies and all the other bits and bobs.

I got one from Woolies, a back pack with two compartments... it worked well and I had to pack for three as Dylan was still in nappies for a while when babies were born. In fact I still have it and would be willing to part ways if you like? I could come drop it at you since we both in Bedfordview?
