Sharp Pains

Post by Melissa Nuthall on Mon 17 May 2010 - 15:57

Hey All

I am new to this all!! I am 8 weeks pregnant and today when I sneezed I felt this very sharp pain at the bottom of my stomach near my ovaries. I can only think this is where my little bean is at the moment. Now I am stressed because if I move in a certain way I get the same pain. Should I be worried? My first gynae appointment is only 31 May.

I am scared!! :Unsure

First of all, Welcome.

Can you not get an appointment earlier than the 31st? Is there any blood?

Maybe have it checked out. I am not 100% sure Melissa.

Hi and welcome

It sounds normal, but if you are worried, give your gynae a call. And come join the other preggy ladies in the preggo lounge

Hey Gals

There is no blood - the sharp pain seems to have gone. I can only go to doc 31 May. I have had to put in a days leave for that.

Went back a few chapters in "What to Expect when you are expecting" and it says I should only be concerned if there is blood.

I stress very quickly so excuse me - LOL Flower smile
