I fell nearly two weeks ago and hurt my wrist, went for x rays and its a very small fracture, one so tiny they were'nt 100 % sure so I have to wear a brace, the dr's just called me back and I have to go in now cos they think it might be another bone that they can't see on x rays :Sad the scaphoid bone, and if it is broken, i'll have to go for surgery -

I know it's not a big thing and not half as bad as some of the things that are happening to other people on the forum but please pray that I don't have to go for surgery - I'm so so so scared of it :Shocked

Any surgery is best avoided... I pray that you are all okay and that the brace will do the trick!

I will pray that there is no other bone broken and that your wrist heals asap! And if you do in fact need a operation that it will get your wrist better soon!

I hope it's not broken and that you don't have to have an op but if you do have to have an op and you willing to go to linksfield I have a hand specialist that I could give you her number. She did my capal tunnel op a year and a half ago and I haven't had an issue since and you can barely see the scar.
