The short and sweet version

Jan 2005 - started "trying"

In denial that anything was wrong for a good 18 - 24 months.

Jan 2007 - saw FS #1 - disillusioned by his diagnosis and demeanor so did nothing the rest of 2007 except for having lots of sex and praying.

Jan 2008 - saw FS #2

Feb & March 08 - had lots of tests, HSG (blocked tubes), etc.

April & beginning May 08 - took fabulous trip to UK and Ireland

May & June 08 - got fit in preparation for op so I could recover quicker

8 July 08 - had laparotomy to clear tubes. Told that IVF is definitely the only way to go. And the fastest way to a baby.

12 Sept 08 - IVF #1 lucrin, GonalF and Luveris

10 follicles, 6 eggs, 1 fertilised, 1 ET

20 Oct 08 - BFP Beta 57, 22 Oct Beta 38, 24 Oct Beta 23 - all over - chemical pregnancy...devastated

28 Nov 08 - IVF #2 Menopur and Cetrotide

5 follicles, 5 eggs, 4 fertilised, 2 transferred

24 Dec 08- BFP

Beta #1 - 826

Beta #2 - 3900

Beta #3 - 7318

Wed 14 Jan 09 - 7-week scan confirmed TWINS!

Had two bleeding scares but an otherwise uneventful pregnancy which I loved!

7 July 2009 - waters broke, emergency Caesar...babies born at 32 weeks

Thanks! Its so weird, I never bought any blue clothes as I thought I would get loads of blue at my babyshower.Well, I got no blue clothing!!! So my boys are in white, cream, yellow and Daniel has lime. Daniel wears newborn and Josh is still in prem, so they dont really even have matching outfits, except the yellow outfit in my pic!
