Green Bean Stew

1kg mutton/beef
2 chopped onions
Garlic
800g green beans
8 potatoes cut into quarters
20ml margarine
Salt
Pepper
500ml warm water (beef "ekstrakblookie" dissolved)
Oil

Heat oil and fry oinion and garlic
Add the meat and brown together
Add salt and pepper as well as the water. What works really well is using pepperkernels.
Add potatoes and beans
Boil until nice and soft and tender
Mash a potato or two to make the sauce nice and thick.
Add margerine and stir


Salad to go:
Grate cucumber and a bit of onion, add salt, pepper and white vinegar and a small amount of water. let it stand for 20 minutes before serving

gonna make this tonight. what cut of meat is best?

I usually use beef cutlets for stew but mutton works really well. I also don't use 1kg, you can play around with how much meat you want to add in....

I dont like mutton will use beef
