Butternut Tart

BUTTERNUT TART

1. Cream the following
• 250 g margarine
• 400 ml sugar
• 6 eggs

2. "Sif" the following together and add to above:
• 500 ml flower
• 30 ml baking powder
• 4 ml salt

3. Add and mix VERY well
• 4 cups cooked and mashed pumpkin/butternut (cooled down)
• 10 ml vanilla essence

Bak 40 – 45 minute by 180 °C in oven proof dish

5. When it's done, add the following sauce IMMEDIATELY
• 1½ cups of sugar
• 2 tablespoons margarine
• 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
• 1½ tablespoons custardpowder
• 2½ cups boiling water

Mix all the ingredients except for the water. Add the water and boil until sugar has melted

makes about 24 portions...
