Hi. Why does the 60 days take so long and how do you prepare for the baby?

Well congrads Mo and i really do hope that the next 53 days fly by so you can hold your little boy in your arms, i know how nerve wracking the waiting can be.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I take it that you don't have your baby yet but that you have to wait until he's 2 months old? We didn't wait 60 days for our baby, we got our baby straight after he was born (we were in theatre, I held him when he was less than a minute old!) so I can't say I know exactly what you're going through, but the 60 days were tough, nontheless.
My advice is to try and keep yourself busy with other things (besides baby clothes shopping!!) read a lot about adoption, babies and child rearing and pray a lot!!! This will also help you prepare for the baby - the Mommy Lounge on OPM is also an excellent source of information.
May your little boy only bring you happiness and peace.
