Re: Hello, New and Nervous
Hi Lilly
My name is Natasha, im 29 years old, married for 3.5 years, ttc 2.5 years.....
Got diagnosed when I was 18 with PCOS and gynae scared me and shouted at me for being overweight (weight 60kgs back then) and been too scared to go to a gynae since. I weight a whopping 106 kgs last year and have been battling to lose the weight, I have dropped to 97kgs....its a difficult road.....

Hi Natasha,
Welcome to OPM, here nobody will judge you & you will find wonderful support from all the TTC ladies & those like myself either pregnant or mommies already! re the weight, I myself battle with my weight, I am pregnant but have not once been this fat & overweight in my life! so I'll be taking on the weight loss road in a couple of weeks time!

Re: Hello, New and Nervous
Hi Tasha and welcome.
The road of weight loss is never an easy one but with the right attitude and support you will get there slowly. I weighed about 95 at my wedding 5 years ago (due to hormonal imbalances) and am now almost at 80. It's been a long road but I know I'm getting there slowly and am just happy with every little bit I loose.
I also had a very bad experience with a gynae (female) who listened to my history and told me (without any tests or bloods etc) that I'd never be able to have kids. I was very put off and to some extents believed her but I have been seeing major changes with medication I am on and now believe that even though I'm not pregnant yet I am a lot closer to being pregnant than I was a year ago and that one day soon I'll be able to shout my BFP (Big Fat Positive) from the mountain tops.
All the best with your journey and I hope you feel welcome here and will find the support and encouragement here that you need.
