So great to hear the babies are all doing well.
I pray that the rest of the pregnancy will go well and before you know it you'll be meeting your little peas.

Re: Opinions for things for twins/triplets
Hi Ladies
Things are going much better, towards the end of last week I have started regaining more energy, although very tired at the end of the day, which I think is normal, but at least I'm feeling alot better and the babies are good, and growing. Ive been back at work for almost 2 weeks, but if I dont feel well, I go home, but I also try stick it out as much as possible.
Last Monday we went for a 3d scan to find out the genders, we are very happy to say that we are expecting 2 girls and a boy, dh is over the moon, especially about his little man. Babies are all similar weights, 167g, 164g, 163g, lady said they are good weights for their gestation. So we are happy, just trying to get things organised, we are half way there, and nothing done!!
We will be having babies at Garden City, we went to see the NICU and maternity ward this weekend and were very impressed, they spent R17m in the upgrading of their machines and we were very happy, at least I can stay with my FS and the ladies there highly recommended him for multiples.
This Wednesday we are going for our anomoly scan, did you do it? They sending us to a specialist and they charge extra for triplets, it is quite heavy, my fs warned us and said if they pick anything up to not do the amnio as it is very high risk for me, especially being at high risk and having the threatened m/c.

Re: Opinions for things for twins/triplets
Hi Chris
Congrats on the triplets, (sorry I am a bit late with that).
I know with twins this are expensive and therefore I really think twice before just buying prams and car seats and everything else and with you it is even more.
I have one nappy bag for both and I put in nappies, cookies, yohurt and all their bottles for the day at the daymom and over weekends if we go out I have a smaller bag with just the necessary things in. You really don't need more than one bag.
I will also go for the twin and single pram - we bought single prams at 9 months because it is a shlep to walk with the twin pram in clothing stores and retail stores.
We got chelino car seats that is from birth to 13kg and I used that in the car, to feed them in when they started solids, when they watch a bit of tv when they were still small and I only got booster seats at 15 months so that was money well spend and loved the car seats.
I think you need to take the car seats and fit all 3 before deciding on a car seat. You can ask them to disconnect the airbags but then all airbags is not working.
Something that I will spend money on it angelcare monitors - it is a must with premmies, get a humidifider - I use mine alot especially in winter, neubilizer and a microwave steamer for the bottles.
The madela breastpump is very good and you just need to find out from NICU if they don't have one. Femina have one in the room where the mommies express that we could use and at home I used my avent hand pump.
Good luck, it is very hard and near the end you can't anymore but it is so wonderful to see then and hold that tiny little body.

Hi
I am glad they are growing nicely. Kian spent some time in the peadiactric ICU at garden city and it was brilliant. The pead ward is apparently not as good but hopefully you wont use it.
