Need Advice bottles or formula!

Hi there, Im married and my little girl is 3 and half months now. I have major problems with her drinking her milk. In the beginning i struggled with the breastfeeding as one nippel is inverted and my nipples was to big for my baby when she was born. I use a manual pump to pump milk out for her, but have stopped after 1 and half months.I'm feeding her with Nuk bottels and with Nan milk, but she refuses to drink and will only suck on her Avent dummy even thou she is hungry. Sometimes 3 hours pass and she will still not take her bottle. Have anyone of you ladies had this problem? or have some advice for me.?

Try and get your DH to feed her, sometimes when you have breastfed a baby even if it's from a bottle, they smell you, and they'll refuse to take a bottle from you...

Have you checked her mouth for thrush? My one boy also wouldnt drink but would suck on his dummy, and he had thrush.

Kendra also had some feeding issues (ha! some - a LOT of feeding issues) and it finally got sorted when we switched to a new formula (Novalac AC)

My paed said you should see a difference within 24 hours...

But I feel for you - I currently still have a drawer full of all sorts of teats and bottles, all trying to find the magic cure!

i agree with the ladies, althoug i had sim probs with my son now 2y9m. He got conf and refused to take any bottle after a whle and 1 hel of a battle he took nuk, but with probs winds et. So with wihan i am gong 2 use tommee tippy btls and dummies. Formula ha untij allegy tetsts come back will change to to infa care nrml or soy.

Hi ladies!! thank you for all the advice. I took Kehara to the doctor yesterday, he confirmed she have thrush in her mouth. He gave me some gel to rub in he mouth and medicine to kill the germ. So hopefully she take her bottle now. Good thing I went, cos I wanted to try new teats first or other formula.
Thank God! going back next week to Doctor for a check to make sure she's doing well... Aai if only babies could have come with manuals hey..ha ha.

Glad you sorted it out! Did he give you Daktarin? Rub it in her mouth and also put it on her dummy. Its sweet, so she should like it!
