Dis 'n photo shoot wat ek laat doen het vir hulle pappa se verjaarsdag so 2 weke gelede. Elkeen het 'n foto'kie van hulleself in 'n eie raampie vir pappa gegee vir sy tafel by die werk.
Die foto's het verskriklik mooi uitgekom... ek sal 'n paar hier aanheg....

WOW, they are GORGEOUS!!!

Dankie julle, ek is vreeslik lief daarvoor om my kids mooi aan te trek en ietsie in hulle hare te sit.
My ma het dit nooit met my gedoen nie... ek het van babatyd tot omtrent Graad 2, 'n boys-cut gehad , (daai tipiese piepiepot haarstyl) en myself altyd belowe ek sal dit nooit aan my kinders doen nie... Ek het geen foto met 'n ou strikkie of poniestert toe ek klein was nie...

Selfs nou as my ma hier by my na die kinders kyk, sal sy hulle sommer die hele dag in hulle pajamas/babygrows los (al is hulle vuil besmeer van vroegoggend dou op die gras) - en vertel my elke week dat ek die kids se hare moet sny... (en ek laat dit maar net afrol soos water vd een se rug af) maar dis maar soos sy is en ek het lankal vrede daarmee gemaak... alhoewel sy ook maar oorborrel van die trots as sy saam met my iewers gaan en die girls mooi lyk.

As kind wou ek altyd met al my maaikies se lang hare speel en hulle vleg en mooi maak.... en toe ek nou "groot" is (haha) het my vriendinne altyd vir my gevra om hulle dogtertjies se lang haartjies te vleg of mooi bollas te maak - en dit het my vreeslik vreugde verskaf.

Ok, genoeg van die emosionele.... laat ek nou eers weer biekie werk!

I love dressing mine up too, but they don't tolerate hair ornaments well

Mine neither - especially Kiana - she hates "attachments"
she doesnt do socks.... she hates stuff in her hair... so i stick it in and then distract her so that she kindoff forgets....
but it usually doesnt last long!

Those photos are gorgeous ant they behaved so well for the camera! we did a shoot recently with teh boys and I only got one pic with both of them in as they just refused to behave!!

I agree with dressing up nicely. When we go to parties I am amazed that few girls wear party dresses anymore?? one party the birthday girl wore old tracksuit pants???

Now there is very little nice for boys aged 18- 24 months but I try.

Yes, you are right - the "together" pics are a real challenge. and i am very surprised that i actually got 3 that looks nice.
Nica was in a very bad mood and did not want me to move away from her, so i was sitting 20 cm from her in most of the pics, or having my hand on her, and then quickly taking it away before the pic... She was crying most of the time.... and it felt like no pics will come out nicely...
But when i got the pics those wet lashes actually turned out beautiful!

As you can see my dreamer dolly Kiana was just her normal happy chappy self like always!! she is so sweet.

Ag hulle is pragtig. Ek wens so Carmen se hare wil groei dat ek dit ook so mooi kan maak.
Ek verstaan hoe jy voel, ek het ook altyd 'n boys cut gehad van ek klein was. Ek het glo te veel geskree as my ma dit wou mooi maak. Nou wil ek alles met Carmen doen waarop ek uitgemis het
