U know those mini chicken fillets from woolies? Well I take those and soak in buttermilk for a bit and then crumb with crushed up salticrax or bacon kips and than bake?

Hi TT. Thanks. I suppose I can take any fillet. Why buttermilk? Usually it is egg? Does buttermilk give it a nicer texture?

Ya and buttermilk also tenderises the meat. The ones in the boxes are actually not bad hey.

For something really tasty take TT's recipe and mix a packet of minestrone soup powder with the salti crax.

Otherwise look at PnP for the Soputhern Fry Coating (halaal as far as I know) and then dip your cutlets and fry!
