I have two boys who are two. I want to get them the car set with the garage to park their cars in. Saw them at Edgars for R229.00. Not sure what else. Checker shas these really cute bikes for R199.00. It is red with black seats and you can pick up the seats and it has a compartment in it. Can't buy that for the boys though as they got it as a birthday present from SIL.

They are getting backpacks for school as well as carts to put their toys on and pull around. The grandparents are going all out with books and toys so it will be fun!

mm my mom also got backpacks for them for school so thats cool - I'm still stumped though - actually think they might have too many toys - albeit cheap toys.
Suppose I'll be a bad mommy if I get them clothes
but thats really what they need

Well I think at their age most of the fun is in pulling the papers off anyway! But perhaps some stacking toys? you get nice wooden ones and mine love theirs. I tend to buy things that are a little too 'difficult' for their age, then they grow into them.

I know I don't have twins but Kayla is not too much older than them and I got her a lawn mower (that has pulling things and buttons and makes noises etc from Makro).
For boys at Reggies I saw wheel barrows (Handy Manny & Cars) R99 as well as a Black and Decker tool set that comes on a trolley also R99 (Toys R Us has them too) they also had a Dr's trolly the same type of thing.
My MIL got her a cash register R99. and my mom got her a plastic motor bike.
You can also get them a tent - saw such nice boys ones at Mr Price Home but those are about R229 but they have different types so have a look.
Kayla just loves pushing things around and anything she can pack stuff into is a hit.

Went to game yesterday. They have the rocking horses for 349.99. I had to get them for the boys but i think that your kids are still a bit too young for it. But i also thin that is a great Christmas present.

I wanted to get them a plastic slide but Game are now sold out. I have some clothes and swimming costumes but am now toying with the idea of something noisy with flashing lights - maybe a cash register or musical instrument or something like that. They have lots of carts and toys to push around. My dad is giving them a tent type thing - two tents joined by a tunnel that I think they will absolutely love!

Wendy - they are going to LOVE the tent tunnel thing :> That sounds great. A plastic slide would have done the trick - I had forgotten all about that. mmmm

Re: What are you buying the twins for Christmas?
The tent is great. Wanted it for my boys but it was sold out, so dh got them just a normal tent which they still love. It is their house and sometimes it is irritating when you are trying to feed them and they run into it to hide. But enjoy. The plastic slide is great but can be tiring when mom is tired and has to stand there and make sure that they don't fall. Especially with twins, cause one climbs up the ladder and the other up the slide. So after a while i just put it on it's side so theycan't climb up.It gets difficult with twins as everything is so costly as you have to buy. Still want to get them the garage to park their cars in. Hoping it will go less 50% on Friday.
