My name is Liezel and I am a Sales Consultant for a company called "Cape Consumers". We don't have any children yet, but have 2 dogs who I love with all my heart.

Here's my story:

We got married 4 April 2009 and decided to start with a family as soon as possible. On May 2009 I went to my Gini for Check-Up, and he said everything is O.K and worked out when my most fertile times are. We were surprised to find out I was pregnant in June already. When I went for a scan to confirm the pregnancy I was shocked to find out that it is an Ectopic Pregnancy.

We had a lot of stress with Mother-In-Law that was diagnosed with Cancer December 2009 and she sadly passed away 31 Dec 2010. We also lost a Good friend that committed suicide a few days after we found out about the Ectopic pregnancy.

Everybody told us not to worry, and that most woman can fall pregnant after a ectopic pregnancy. So we tried for a year to conceive after that. When the disappointment became to much I decided to go to a Fertility Clinic and saw Prof. Thinus Kruger.

Prof. Kruger told me immediatly that I must lose some weight and did blood test and tested my husband. Decemer 2010 I went for a laparoscopy, and he discoverd that my other tube was also blocked. After the blocked tube and ovary was cleaned up, he gave us a 70% chance to fall pregnant.

Its been 3 months after the laparoscopy and we are still waiting for our miracle baby.

I am so sorry to hear. And my condolences wrt your MIL.

Its very hard to hear people say "It will come".

We conceived 3months after my laporoscopy and then had a MC. And then conceived again in May.

I also live in Brackenfell and was also a patient of Prof Kruger and Dr Siebert at Vincent Pallotti. They are excellent! You can see most of my story in my signature.
