Just wanted to say hello

Hi to all of you.

I am new to this site, actually any site. I was feeling a bit blue today, so I though what the heck.

My husband and I decided in Nov 2009 that it's the right time for a baby. We have been TTC ever since. In Aug 2010 my husband was diagnosed with MS and we were told that his sperm count was only 16. Then in Sept 2010 I found out I was pregnant. Miracle! I immediately thought that it was the Fertomed which I took in Aug. In Dec 2010 I had a miscarriage. Bummer! Nothing has happened since then. I know it is not so long ago, but every time I find out I am not pregnant is such a disappointment. I feel like I'm getting obsessed. All I read about is how to optimise our chances and everyone telling me to relax and forget about it, is just infuriating me.

My husband is turning 40 this year and with his illness, I would really like to get pregnant as soon as possible. I have 2 older sisters and they didn't struggle, neither did my mom. I am back on Fertomed now for the second month and we do ovulation tests, but nothing. I know there isn't much you can do to assist me, but talking to people who understand what I'm going through might just help. I hope so!

Thank you for each of you who took the time to make me feel welcome. It really brightened my mood.

To answer your question Eve, no I am not with a fertility specialist yet. I am going to my gynae on the 22nd of March where I will discuss my situation and ask her advice. She said she first have to do an ultrasound on day 12 to 14 of my cycle to determine whether I am producing more than one egg at a time, so that we can decide whether I can stay on fertomed or not. In the meantime I am still taking folic acid just for in case.

I would really like to find out more about all of you, I just have to find my way around the site and I don't know all the abreviasions yet. I find that it is much more comforting talking to women who went through the same thing, even though I don't really know you.
