My Beautiful Friend

She was just so beautiful and so young.
(Her and her mum many moons ago)
Amazing how a specific date brings up so many feelings.
I mean it is not like I don't think of her every single day. She is GONE every single day but just because in two or three hours, 13 years ago my friend ceased to live, I can't seem to find it in me to smile today. I can't stop thinking about her, I miss her more and I remember how angry I was all those years ago.
Death is such a horrible thing. In this case it is even harder to accept because she was taken at such a young age and so tragically AND she had to be one of the kindest, most gentle people I have ever met in my life. She did not have a cruel, mean, wicked bone in her body.
Just shows that time does not make it go away. 13 years down the line and it feels like it was yesterday.
Yes, we learn to accept it and deal with it better but it is ALWAYS there.
