I tested..

Hey Ladies!

Bit of an update:
These last two months have been extremely hectic and because i was so disappointed about the last BFN i kinda "gave up"...well not really gave up, more like i just did not follow my cycles that much. I was in a state of "whatever happens, happens"

Anyway, yesterday i was driving home and a thought popped into my head..when is AF due??. So i checked my calender on my cell, counted the days and realised that testing day was 19th(today). I popped into clicks and bought a couple of tests (more out of habit than anything). Got home and being really silly, thought i would do a test. To my absolute amazement i saw a faint pink line!! A very faint line but noticeable - even my hubby saw it. So i tested again this morning and i could hardly see any line (only after 5 mins could i see a very very faint line..) :scratch: :scratch: I would have thought if it was a BFP then surely it would be a stronger line in the morning.

Hubby says i should wait a couple of days and test again, and he doesnt want me to go for bloods just yet because he does not want me to get my hopes up high...but i don't know if i can wait. I don't want to get too excited because it could still most possibly be a BFN...

*groan*...i don't know what to do!!! Do i wait? or do i just go do the bloods and then ask for forgiveness later?

Very long post..but lots going through my mind right now....

I would say go for the blood test, maybe you need progesterone or something else and besides positive is positive until proven otherwise so I think a congratulations is in order here.

I have just come back from doing the bloods at Lancet labs, they say the results will be available in 1.5 hours, but i will only be able to get there at about 1pm....such a long wait!!

i don't want to get your hopes up!! but!!!! thats how i got mine!!!! only a faint line the first time!!!

Ok...so i just fetched results (managed to run out quickly)...BFN!
Oh well, will just have to carry on i guess.

Hey Landie,

report just says negative..no count. but it also says to try again in 72 hours??
How can a HPT show a pink line and bloods not show anything..oh well i must have got a dud HPT then.
