Prayer for a collegue

Hi girls.

Wednesday morning we were met with the news that the husband of one of the ladies that work here was in an accident (Tuesday night) on his way home. It was a freak accident. He was waiting at an intersection for his turn, a lady came head on from the front (not sure if she wanted to go across or turn) and her tyre burst at that exact moment. She crashed into him, head on.

He was fine on the scene of the accident, the car is badly written off and he had a good knock around, also some head trauma. He still phoned her and they took him to hospital in the meantime, while she was on her way. When she got there he was already under sedation and he had an emergency operation that night for a brain hemorrhage and to relieve the pressure (the swelling and all came later, like it always does)

He never came to again, but things improved and the doctor was satisfied. He was still on life support and started breathing on his own again by Wednesday mid morning.

Late Wednesday afternoon we were informed that he had passed away. The trauma was just too severe in the end.

My heart is in a million pieces for this family. They have a daughter in Gr.3 and a son of about 6 years old.

Please just, when you have time, think of them during this time.

Holy moly, that's terrible

That is so very sad. Saying a prayer for them. It just shows, we are here one minute and the next minute we gone.

Ag no man. My heart is breaking for the family.

Oh Monz, I don't even want to have to relive what that poor woman is going through.

She is going to need loads of support especially in the months to come.

I will keep her in my prayers.

Thank you so much ladies. Work is terrible at the moment, she is obviously not here, but the atmosphere is rather draining... As we all knew him personally also.
