Well I hope the meds stop making you ill, it's the worst feeling in the world! I fainted in the gym when I was on clomid, soooo embarrassing!!

I'm glad to hear you're giving it another go this month and lets cross all crossables that this is THE month!

Maybe try to talk to DH to find out exactly what it is that's bothering him, maybe he doesn't understand something that you can shed some light on or maybe he just needs to talk about his feelings. Men don’t handle these things the same way we do, and even when you're pregnant you'll see how different it will be for him.

No meds this morning (very thankful)



was in bed at 7 already last night, had the worst migrain ever and was vomiting my lungs out ....



tomorrow will be the last injection and then it will be verdict time ....

16 September 2011 (CD8)

Last injection taken, I really had another bad day of headache and vomiting but hopefully it is over now that the meds are finished.

It is starting to affect everything (I think it is all the meds the past year), my skin is so bad, pimples oily, same with my hair ... in such a state. I have picked up even more wait .... keeping the eye on the price ....

17 September 2011 (CD9)

I was so stress out before the doctor’s appointment.... it felt like if I am going to breathe that everything will just fall to pieces, me will fall to pieces and that I will never find the pieces again to put myself together!!

The verdict:

Two follies one on each side, the one are 16mm and the other was 19mm, my lining was long (never seen it that long before) but still thin (5.5mm). Doctor said I must not worry about that now coz it is still early in my cycle. He did put me on estrogen tabs, 2mg in the mornings and 2mg in the evenings. Then I was off to do the bloods. Doctor phoned to say bloods are in order and WE ARE READY TO GO!!!! We did the ovidrel trigger at ten on Saturday night, that was a nasty one, it burnt like fire.

So Monday morning (CD11) DH must deliver his sperm at the clinic at 9:30 and then I must be there at 11:00 for the insemination .....

This is it!!!

Yay !!! So glad everything is working out so well and that dr FINALLY put you on estrogen ! I was always put onto estrogen for all my IUI's and IVF 's - it helps build a beautiful lining , and I never had any lining issues.

19 September 2011 (CD11)

So this morning I waited in the car so DH can do his ...... sperm in a bottle Think we both were so nerves ...

Dropped it off at 10:30, took him to work and then at 11:00 I was back at the clinic I GOT INSEMINATED

It was not nice (the tool used to keep you open) but it went well, I had to stay down for a bit and I just started crying as I was praying!!


Doctor said my estrogin was 1800 and that DH sperm as VERY good, above average and he was very very happy. I have to take the estrogin tabs for 10 days ....

This is it! I am going to be positive, I am going to believe that God was holding my hand this morning as this was the moment when the life of my baby started

Thank you so much. It has been such a long journey to this point and I have always been so scared to ask God for my own child. I always pray for others and for myself but that the scan will be ok, that the meds will work. I never went on my knees and said the words, I never been able to ask God to trust me with one of his children as I do believe that if it is God's will something will happen. I think the fear has always been that maybe it is not God's will for me to have my own child but rather to be a mother for another child that does not have a mommy.

But I got over my fear this morning and I really do not know if it is this that has open my heart or the fact that I got one step closer because of technology and meds

I do believe that I was not alone this morning, that He was there with me and I will leave this now in his hands. I surrender ..... it feels good, like a mountain has been lifted from my shoulders!
