Daily thought and prayer - 13 January 2009

Verse: Isaiah 61:3
He will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair (heaviness).
- God can turn any situation around.
- He can take ashes and make something beautiful.
- He can take mourning and turn it into joy.
- He can lift a spirit of heaviness and despair.
- Give it to God and make the exchange.
PRAYER: Lord, You are the One who can make the difference in my life. Take away my ashes, mourning and heaviness and give me Your beauty, joy and praise. Amen.
