Hi ladies, i've been on the forum for a little while now but is my first time to be on this thread i still dont believe i'm posting here lol! ok friday was my first U/S after my first ever bfp on the 21/10/11 we saw my little nut i never thought we will be able to see something hearing his/her heart beat was the most beautiful moment ever the baby measured 1cm and the bpm was 150 dr says is a normal heartrate at this stage and all looks perfect though i hoped for a twins because we transferred three embies but i am so happy with what God blessed me with.

The bad part is i was diognised with bronciatis and i was booked off the whole week i'm back in the office but my throught is killing me, all my appetite is gone don't know what to eat luckly no nauseous i wish it can stay away from me other thing that worries me is on friday i was 5weeks but dr said i'm 7 weeks can please someone explain how does this thing works.

Shame I do hope you feel better soon! Maybe drink some honey and lemon mixed for your throat... With the nausea I know it's not easy but try and eat a little something even if it's one Marie / salticrax / yoghurt or piece of fruit every 2 hours... It really helps with the nausea. The emptier your tummy gets the more nauseous you will get...

Sometimes the different machines give you different measurements... Did you ask your Dr about why it was more, though I don't think it's anything to worry about I think it's very difficult to get an accurate measurement so early...

Also remember that the dr will count from your last cycle start and you may be counting from when the pregnancy actually happened.

Hope you feel better real soon. Maybe try some honey and lemon juice in hot water for the throat.

there is gestational age and fetal age... gestational age they start counting from your last AF and fetal age is the actual age of the baby.

The difference is usually about 2 weeks.
