Daily thought and prayer - 03 to 06 February 2009

Verse: Jeremiah 15:19 - Amplified

Cleanse your own heart from unworthy and unwarranted suspicions concerning God's faithfulness!

- Sometimes we doubt God.
- We can even blame God for our situation or circumstances.
- The truth is that God is faithful.
- Don't let your heart carry suspicions and doubts.
- HE IS FAITHFUL!

PRAYER: Lord, forgive me for my doubt and suspicion. You are my God and You will be faithful to me! Amen.

Verse: Jeremiah 6:16

Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

- In life the roads we choose are crucial.
- We must take care to find the right way to go.
- We only find the rest when we find the right road.
- The right choices bring the rewards.
- God's ways are the road we must follow.

PRAYER: Lord, I have decided to follow You! I choose Your paths and Your ways! As a result I can enjoy the rest for my soul that You have promised. Amen!

Verse: Joshua 3:10

THE LIVING GOD IS AMONG YOU!

- This is one of the greatest facts.
- God is with you!
- The Living God is with you today!
- He is Emmanuel - which means, God with us!

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are with me today in my every effort and thought. May I use today for Your glory! Amen.

Verse: Psalm 103:2 + 5

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your mouth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

- The benefits of God are available to each one of us.
- God has what we need.
- As we look to Him, this can become a reality.
- God is ready to meet you at your point of need.

PRAYER: Lord, I need You! Come and satisfy the longings and desires of my heart, I pray. Amen.
