Worried and SOOOOOOOOOOO far away

A little while ago I wrote that my sister who lives in London had gone for a scan and they picked up that her LO had cysts on one of its kidneys. They were not too worried and made an appointment for her to go see a specialist.

She saw the specialist today and she has just sent me a text message to tell me that her LO has an obstruction between it's bowel and kidney. I don't know much more than that cause she said we will talk tonight when I get home from work and can speak properly but in the mean time I am really worried.

She is so far away with no family and it is her first LO. She must be going out of her mind. She has now been referred to another kidney specialist and so far things don't sound as if they are life threatening but it is all the waiting to find out exactly what is going on.

It must be really awful for you right now. I am sure you just want to hop on a plane and fly straight there!

I really hope that it is nothing serious!

Ai Sheena, my heart goes out to them. The best we can do for them now is pray and hope. Shame they must need your support so much now!

Please keep us updated, in the mean time I will be thinking of them and praying that they will have a perfect 100% beautiful HEALTHY little baby.

Shame, I am feeling sorry for her too! Poor girl, it must be such a worry and no family around. Sounds like a wait and see thing, which is never easy!
