Hi All

Post by Zee on Mon 18 Aug 2008 - 16:26

I have been TTC for the past 8 months and have shed so many tears already. Bawl Eyes Out It can be so heart breaking.

Have been to the Gynae a few times and was suppose to go for a Laparoscopy in June to rule out any infertility problems I might have as he suspects endometriosis or blocked tubes, but my medical aid wont cover until November.
Which means all I can do is wait for now. :Wait

Ive tried to stop thinking about TTC until after the op but as you all know, its VERY difficult.

Has anybody been for a laparoscopy or know of anyone who has successfully fallen preggies after the op. I've read endometriosis is quite common and a common cause of infertility and the only way to successfully remove any scar tissue is through the op.

:Anyone??:

Hi Zee and welcome to OPM! Come join us in the TTC lounge

I am sorry you are feeling so down. The TTC journey is such a difficult one!!

With regards to the lap: I have had one last year August. I fell pregnant after my second IUI after my lap, but it ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. They do say that one is most fertile after a lap, so, if endo is the only thing stopping you from falling pregnant, you should have great success after the lap.

Good luck Zee, and I hope you settle in nicely here!

Hey Zee a friend of mine had a lap and is now pregnt. I hear you become most fertile rite after the op. I had ovarian torsion (twisting of the ovary) in Sep last year and my doc scheduled me for an op in Nov but I went to him before the OP date as my symptoms were becoming severe they found out that I had ovarian cysts and it's was only a matter of time before it could rapture and on that very same day I was rushed to the theater for an OP and it was succesful. Although this is not the same OP I hope it help.

Hi there

I had Lab (x2) and had Endomo (spelling). They removed it with a lazer through my navel.

I am currently pregnant with my 2nd baby.

So please do not give up hope. Just keep on praying and believing. When the time is right you will be blessed with a healthy baby.

Good Luck and do not stop trying.
