My update...

I phoned the SW yesterday to ask what is going on, and she said she haven't forgot about us. They are having a meeting this week on when to open the list again. Then she'll give me a call.

ANOTHER THING.... my boss just told me. Her SIL works in Phalaborwa. She did my bosses daughters adoption as well. There is a new lady in Phalaborwa who opened up a house for mommies that don't want their children, or that have children who's "unplanned"... well, she's gonna sit with me tomorrow morning, stating what I must say in our "CV" and then she'll take the CV to the lady. She said that in the past few months, they've given 5 babies up for adoption.

Now I seriously CAN'T wait!!! Hopefully SOON I will give you the good news. I just CAN'T wait. Now I pray that they will look at our CV and then choose us to be a little babies mommy and daddy!

Jip, spoke to her yesterday... all is looking good. She is part of the company there in Phalaborwa. She also does the "keuring" for the babies. She said they have a lot of babies there and is getting more and more babies because this is a "home" for mommies and babies in the bushveld. So they are very busy. She said she is now here in Bhs, gonna be back in Phalaborwa next week, then I must mail her. She will mail me back a "voorbeeld" of one of the "cv's" of the mommies that has adopted already. She said I must make the CV interesting, with photo's, where we're coming from, our personalities etc. And I must state that my mom and her brother was also adopted.

Then she will give the "cv" to the board and then the waiting begins. I'm sooo excited. She will try and give a "good word" for us because she is my bosses stepsister. Nice lady, young and have a baby herself of 2 1/2 years.

I'm so glad for you, but as I said before, make sure about the cost.
