M&M BIRTH STORY

On Tuesday 10 March I had my normal gynea visit (been going to the gynea on a tuesday and friday from 28 weeks). Both babies were lying heads down with Montine's head near the birht channel. my BP were very high and gynea ask me to come back on Thursday to get my BP checked and if it is high again then she is taking the babies out. I have struggled with my BP from 28 weeks and my tummy dropped very much from valentines day. So off I go to get my BP medicine gynea prescribe to me and double checked my bags and packed my bags also just for incase!

Thursday come and my BP is higher than Tuesday and off I go to the labour rooms(09:30). First I was told that they may not be able to help me that day and then only after 4 that afternoon. Off my hubby went to quickly go and look at the site at hartbeespoortdam to see all it going well there and all of a sudden the nurse told me the pead say the babies must be out before 12 (10:45) so I phoned hubby and tell him to hurry otherwise he must turn around or he is going to miss the birth.

Now I start to panic, I can't breath, they can't put the cateter in in thearte, nurse must do it and the drip. But is wasn't that back not comparing to what is coming. All of a sudden hubby came through the doors, they tell him to put my things away and come to us to the theatre, he got dressed and I was wheel to the theatre. Their they put my on the table and start the spinal and it hurt so much and after 7 tries they only got the spinal in. The pead came in and the gynea and their they start cutting me. Montine was born first 12:20 weigthing 2,050kg and Montinique 12:22 weighting 2,115kg. I got to see them for a few second and then they went to NICU and hubby went with. Gynea struggled to get the placenta out( was lying on my cervix) and all the amniotic fluid - got plenty of that.

Girls stayed in NICU for 15 days and I only got to see them the day after they were born!

I am glad I got to hear the full story finally! Shjoe our girls (all 4 of them) like making dramatic entrances!

That you can say again!!! But here they are and we love them to bits!!! Just hope that they will grow out of this screaming phase very soon

Yes I will be there with them, will not miss it again!!
