No problem, yes I was thinking of it but it looks like hubby is not so keen on it not that his opinion matters in this case.

But I would like to give it a try atleast.

i would also like to try... I think the bonding plays a BIG role!!!

I do think so, although a lot of people had told me it doesn't matter the bonding is the same. Its just that I feel I already miss out on giving birth I can atleast try the breastfeeding.

Jip, I think that is well said.. We want to at least experience something of the whole pregnancy thing!!

Yes I am....I am doing what is known as the accelerated protocol by combining Yasmin with Domperidon (aka Vomidon). But I am also giving formula. The breastfeeding is more for religious reasons though.

Ilze: are you considering adoption?

Bella, we are busy with the proses through ACVV and so far we waiting to hear if our application where approved. The board have already sit at the beginning of June so now the wait for the letter is on as they don't want to give us the outcome on the phone.

girls sorry to butt in, but what meds does an adoptive mom use for breastmilk production, I had no milk production with D, and I am exploring every option

You are quite right about that: Eglynol is prescribed and Vomidon / Domperidon is over the counter. With regards to the Yasmin however, it is recommended by La Leche League instead of using Elgynol. U see, eglynol is an anti psychotic drug and therefore an anti depressant. The consultant I spoke to at La leche said that using Yasmin with vomidon and other herbal remedies is more natural and thus more safe with little side effects.

But it really depends on what you want to take and if you are comfy with the Eglynol.

Oh okay, I just knew about the Eglynol, didn't know the Yasmin work as well but will keep this in mind, as the La Leche League consultant only told me about Eglynol and then she also want to sell me that thingie you carry around you neck while BF insteed of using any drugs.

But thanks alot the more I know the better choice I can make in the end.
