Our Road...

has come to an end.

We recieved a email today to contact our SW. So when I phone they told me she is busy with training I must call on Monday afternoon, I then told the lady that I recieved a email to contact her as soon as possible, so she gave me her cellnr.

I sent her a sms, and ask her to let me know when she will be available so just after 16h00 she told me I could phone, and then she blurtet it out.

Our application was not sucsessfull. No reason why!!!!! Oh but we are more than welcome to apply next year again, but I have to remember we have to to all the medical evaliation again next year.

Both of us is very devestated about the new but we decided that Satan will not steal our hope or joy from us. We will have children, I don' know how or when but we will have.

WHAT???????? I dont believe it Ilze. Tell them you want to know why. They must have a reason! I would investigate!!!!

Oh, I am so sorry my friend. This is terrible news.

Unfortanatly we sign a form that says they don't hve to give us a reason why, so we have no right what so ever. If we didn't sign it they wouldn't go on with the application.

That sucks! Will you consider getting medical assistance in falling pregnant?

Oh Ilze, I am so sorry to hear of this... and at the same time very angry because as I said in an earlier post, there are far too many homeless children
This really is so unfair because you would've given a child much hope, love and a chance at a brighter future.

Persevere my friend....I am with you completely that this is NOT the end of the road!!

Have you tried any other agencies or child welfare? I've not followed your story from the beginning so apologies for asking questions you may have spoken about in previous posts

Eve, We did a IUI once which was not sucsessfull and at that stage Hubby was not very keen on paiying so much for treatment but maybe in the future we will look at IVF, our biggest problem is at the moment Pte/Jhb is a bit far for us to just go, we would need to work with a plan with living arrangments ect. My sister is in Pte but Hubby don't want them to know we doing IVF so we wouldn't be staying with them and I can't stay on my own there as I have no one to drive me around there. When directions was give away in heaven I was standing at the end of the road, so I didn't recieved anything. But we will work something out.

Bella, I have phoned a lot of sw's mostly private but they are just to exspencive for us. The other which is not private is not willing to work in the northern cape. So at the moment I don't really have a plan B.

Lilly thanks at the moment I just want to my heart out, but in the end I will lift my head and start again. I'm not at a place in my life where I can or will give up on this.

Ons was by Femspec gewees en hulle was so ongeskik dat hubby nie weer soon toe wil gaan nie. Was oorspronklik by Dr Markram maar hy is nou iewers in Jhb of Pte. Hy was baie nice maar het ook net half pad gekom, eerste inplanting gedoen en die tweede dag was hy vir 'n konferensie en moes sy venoot dit doen maar hy het my so seer gemaak dat ek gehuil het van pyn terwyl hy besig was.
So indien ons dit weer oorweeg sal ons defnitief nie terug gaan na hulle toe nie.

weet jy, dokters!!! hulle kan so ongeskik wees!! dis soos die eerste gynea by wie ek was met my miskraam, hyt vir Dh gese, hy is seker hyt hom al op police files gesien!!hy was kort af en ongeskik - gemaak of ons verlies net nog n miskraam was!toe ek in die hospitaal was voor D se geboorte het ek hom een aand n swart vrou hoor uitrap, dit nadat pas sy n miskraam op 20weke gehad het!

Ja vir baie van die dokters is dit maar net nog 'n geval, geen persoonlikheid met die pasient nie.

So iemand moet sommer van die mediese rol geskraap word.

Shame my friend. If you decide to look into the medical route again, maybe you should phone a PTA/JHB specialist and tell them your history etc. Then get your bloods taken where you live and maybe communicate like that for a bit? Maybe he will send you a script that you can get meds for, and just do some medicated cycles before having to actually undergo medical procedures?

I will look into that Eve, but first I think I must see a endocrinoloog(sp) because I still think maybe my thyroid or some other hormones is not right, but at this stage all the drs I saw is more worried about me loosing weight (as they say they don't care how) than my hormones.

So then I will take it from there.

I heard that HF Verwoed(don't know what their new name is) in PTA does IVF for about R3000.00 and they have a 40% success rate as it is a government hospital. Maybe you can contact them and the savings on the treatment can be used for accomodation.
