I have to add that I am a twin (I have a twin brother) and my husband has twin sisters ... so when we get the comment are there twins in your family we say yip .... and we were still surprised when we found out we were having twins! My mom says whenever she got the comment "are they twins" she'd answer by saying "no they're triplets I sent one to the movies".

Hey, i know exactly how you feel. There can be millions of single babies pushed in prams in the mall, and no one even notice.... but a twin pram just catches EVERYONE's attention.

I do find that its the older people who are really amazed and truly curious to stop, smile and praise the twins. Many of the younger people just smile and then usually people with little kids will also tell there kids to " look sweetie - there are twins" and the little kids thinks its very cute.

So i have made peace with the whole fussing - its just a HUGE problem if you are in rush to get somewhere and every second person wants to stop you to look at the kids!

Another twin mommy told me once (her twins are now 13/14 years old), that people only make a fuss about them when they are still very small and cute. Once they start going to school its not so bad anymore.... and they get treated much more normal!

Page I think you are right when they are bigger we will miss the attention. I took Connor shopping on his own and still got lots of comments. So I think you are right about the cuteness factor.

At the moment what bugs me more than being asked about the boys, is those victoria jackson make up sales people who literally grab you and you have to fight them off often I am in a hurry and the boys hate stopping for too long and I then have to really fight with them.
