Introduction

Hi All

How is everyone doing?

Some of you may know me from the Infertility Forum on H24.
For those of you who don't me, here is a short story of my ttc journey so far.

My wife and I actively started trying last year in August. We had a struggle first to find the right FS to help us.
Anyway, we have done 5 cycles of AI now, of which only 2 were aborted due to follies not responding.
The last failed AI was in August.

We met with FS yesterday and decided that we will do IVF, so we will be saving up money for this.

First though, I'm scheduled for Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy on 13 October.

Any words of advice regarding these procedures would be helpfull.

Well, I went for a Lap and Hysteroscopy last Thursday! Basically, its just to find out and see whats going on inside. They can see clearly if you have endometriosis (which I had) and if tubes are block etc, etc. They done a D&C aswell.

The whole op isnt bad and the incisions are the least painful (for me anyway!) but the gas was quite painful. Its taken me 4 days to completely recover. But all worth it because you have a better understanding afterwards.

My Gynae told me that if I dont fall pregnant within the next 3 months then I should make another appointment and we will take it further. (Ovulation, DH Sperm Count etc).

So I think it is great that you are going in.
