Oh hell yes!!!! Have been REALLY trying for the last 17 months now and no go! used to pray so hard when i was in varsity to NOT fall preg and now i am praying so hard TO fall preg!!! crazy
I feel fertility problems run in our family but am just to scared to make the step to visit my gyne. I would rather try and not know than know!
My GP has tried to get me to do the whole temp testing and follow my cycle, ummmm what cycle??? my body does its own thing!!! i dont have a cycle...

Isn't that crazy.. I was doing the same thing, now your prayers just turns around and don't become real. You MUST visit your gynae, otherwise, you won't know what to expect. Reading your post, you must go girlie, asap!!! WELCOME!!!!!! x

Welcome Tammy, you will love it here on OPM. I think we all had that fear some time or other in our lives but what I have learnt is if there is a problem then they can help me fix it, there are so many things that can affect your fertility you will be surprised if you have a problem like some of us like PCOS then you are not ovulating and then you can try till you are blue in the face nothing will happen. We trust in GOD and you have to trust that He will lead you down the right path love.

U should go see a fertility specialist , it took me less than six months after my first appointment and at least i knew what was the problem ,
we all do that when we are not ready we pray so hard not to fall pregnant and when we get ready we paray so hard to get preggies .

I know the thought of thinking you might have fertility problems is scary, BUT, it is so much better in the long run. As Tmom says, she fell pregnant within 6 months. Maybe the first step is to get DH tested. Then you go for an HSG. You can go to any hospital and have that done. It is basically an x ray that sees if your tubes are blocked or not, and that your uterus is ok. If DH is fine and you are fine, get you gynae to give you clomid for a couple of cycles. If nothing happens, definately go see a specialist!

They say that if you ave been trying for 12 months and still not pregnant, you should definately see a specialist!
