Re: Who assists youwith your twins?
Well, I am in shock and stressed as my domestic walked out on me this morning. Someone is looking after them today as I try to make alternative arrangements.
Re: Who assists youwith your twins?
O boy Joleen. I am also on the hunting for a daymommy to look after them when I need to go back to work the 3 of Aug.
I understand that you are freaked out but try to stay calm. I really did everything myself, hubby don't even make a bottle and it was tiring in the beginning but I am used to it now and cope very well on my own.
I hope you get someone decent to look after them. Did she tell you why she want to leave?

I have my way of doing things and she has hers. I can understand that but I am the mom. I think we were both stressing each other out. I tried to explain to her where I was coming from but they dont understand this. I told her its early days for me and that I am still adjusting but that did not seem to work for her. I am so tired.
I did find someone else and she started yesterday so we will see. I have left her to see how she copes and popped into work to access mails and go on the internet. When I checked in with her now she had bathed them, fed them and they are sleeping. She wants to bath them twice a day and I am happy with that. What ever works for her. I know that I need to relax and let her find her way and what works for her as she will have them during the day.
I go back to work on 12 Aug.

Shame Joleen. I hope she works out! From what I gather usually one goes through a few to find the right one - I was just lucky that the first one we tried has worked out well- not that she does everything precisely as I would have but she is efficient and the babies are happy. Good luck!
