New here - my twin daughters 1 month old
Hi ladies,
Paulae was kind enough to invite me to join this forum. My twin daughters were born on 15 June at 37 weeks gestation. Grace weighed in at 2390kg and Annah at 2350kg. They were third pregnancy. I have a 12 year old daughter as well as a 2,5 year old little girl. So it's all girls for me. I've been blessed to be able to feed my girls exclusive breastmilk and last week when we weighed last week, Grace weighed in at 3015kg and Annah at 2790kgs. so doing well on mommies milk. To give me some much needed time out, I've introduced one formula bottle a day. At this point it's the mid morning feed to allow me to be with my toddler and oldest daughter who is still on school holiday. Going to watch Ice Age 3 on Saturday was very liberating!! Never thought I'd say that.
Both Grace and Annah had a bout of oral thrush and my boobies took a beating but all under control now thanks to Daktarin and Nystacid. I feed them 6 times daily but between 7 and 11 am, it's on demand. What I'd love to know how you handled toddlers acting out because some days, I feel at my wits end with my little one. I'm really not sure how to handle this other than taking time out to feed ducks up the road (weather permitting) and going to play bays.
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and hearing yours! Heaven know nothing prepares on for this....
Nita

Hi Nita
Glad to see you here! And your twinnies are doing so well, congrats on the breastfeeding, I am very impressed!
All I can tell you re the toddler, it does seem to get better. Mine was very tantrum-prone for a while, but the last month or so she has been much better. I think you are doing the right thing, giving her attention ect. Mine seem to love her sisters very much, luckily she hasn't taken out her frustration on them (only on me
)
When are you going back to work?

Hi Nita
It's me, Stardust, from FC. So nice to see you here.
Sounds like you are doing very well with breastfeeding. I really hope I'll have enough milk. Do you drink something to help it on?
Enjoy your 2 little ones, sorry I have no advice regarding the acting out of the older one but I am sure you'll get plenty of help here.
Have a lovely evening.
